Dave Hiltebrand has been a professional musician for over 25 years with extensive experience as a multi-talented performer, composer, studio musician and educator. His expressive and heartfelt style has a direct connection to his love of cinematic music.
He has traveled the world on tours (Jersey Boys Broadway National Tour, Nick Colionne, Uniting Voices Chicago), co-written and co-produced top ten contemporary jazz songs, composed music for the Oprah Winfrey Show, Nike, Allstate, appeared in multiple TV appearances (Empire, Betrayal, Oprah w/ Lenny Kravitz) and scored documentaries.

YOGUITAR
Dave is passionate about composing and performing music to promote better mental health, and released his debut solo guitar album Yoguitar, Vol. 1.
Yoguitar inspired Dave to use music as a healing force. What began as a recording project evolved into immersive live events intended to bring listeners into the present moment, slow down and experience inner calm.
EDUCATIONAL
Dave is currently a member of the adjunct faculty at Elmhurst University where he teaches Digital Music. Classes focus on recording and production with Logic and Pro Tools. Students gain experience with recording, audio editing, podcast production, film scoring and game audio.
Dave has recently begun a partnership with Gorton Center where he offers regular guitar workshops, Yoguitar events and private lessons.
